Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using DropScribe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users — free and paid. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The Service

DropScribe is an AI-powered product description generator for ecommerce store owners. It uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and meta descriptions based on your inputs.

The AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for all purposes. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before publishing it to your store.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for:

• ✦Keeping your password secure and confidential.
• ✦All activity that occurs under your account.
• ✦Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@dropscribe.app.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts may not be shared between multiple people.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Plan

The Free plan provides 5 generations per month at no cost. No credit card is required.

Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in US dollars. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to your paid plan features until then. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

Refunds

We offer refunds within 7 days of initial subscription if you are unsatisfied with the service. Contact support@dropscribe.app to request one. After 7 days, all charges are final.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice by email. If you do not cancel before the price change takes effect, you consent to the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DropScribe to:

• ✗Generate content that is false, deceptive, or misleading to consumers.
• ✗Create descriptions for counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited products.
• ✗Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from our service at scale.
• ✗Share your account credentials with others or resell access to the service.
• ✗Abuse the free tier through automated or scripted account creation.
• ✗Interfere with the security or performance of the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

The product descriptions generated using your inputs belong to you. You may use them freely in your store without attribution to DropScribe.

Our Content

The DropScribe name, logo, website, and application code are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.

AI Output Disclaimer

AI-generated content may occasionally resemble existing published content. You are responsible for ensuring that content you publish does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• —The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• —AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
• —Generated descriptions will improve your store's conversion rate or SEO rankings.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DropScribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@dropscribe.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections 6, 7, and 8 survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
