By creating an account, using DropScribe ("the Service"), or installing the DropScribe app on your Shopify store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users — free and paid, and all merchants who install the Shopify app. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
DropScribe is an AI-powered product description generator for ecommerce store owners. It uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and meta descriptions based on your inputs.
The AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for all purposes. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before publishing it to your store.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for:

The Free plan provides 5 generations per month at no cost. No credit card is required.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in US dollars. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to your paid plan features until then. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.
We offer refunds within 7 days of initial subscription if you are unsatisfied with the service. Contact support@dropscribe.app to request one. After 7 days, all charges are final.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice by email. If you do not cancel before the price change takes effect, you consent to the new pricing.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.
The product descriptions generated using your inputs belong to you. You may use them freely in your store without attribution to DropScribe.
The DropScribe name, logo, website, and application code are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.
AI-generated content may occasionally resemble existing published content. You are responsible for ensuring that content you publish does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DropScribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@dropscribe.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections 6, 7, and 8 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
This section applies to merchants who install the DropScribe app on a Shopify store. By installing the app, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which together form the privacy and data protection agreement governing DropScribe's access to your store data.
DropScribe reads aggregate store analytics only— product views, sessions, and net sales — through Shopify's read_reports scope and the ShopifyQL analytics API, together with your product catalog content. We access this data for the sole purposeof measuring how DropScribe-generated and enhanced descriptions affect your store's performance and conversion lift, and we limit our use of the data to that purpose.
DropScribe does not access, request, or store individual customer personal data — no customer name, email address, phone number, billing or shipping address, payment details, or order-level identifiers. The data we read is aggregated at the store and product level and cannot identify any individual shopper.
Stored aggregate metrics are retained for up to 13 months for performance comparison and are encrypted at rest and in transit. If you uninstall the app from your Shopify admin or delete your account, all associated store data and stored analytics metrics are permanently deleted within 30 days. Full details are in Sections 5 and 10 of our Privacy Policy.
You may withdraw DropScribe's access to your store at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. This terminates the data access granted under this agreement.
